Hey there, sweet mama friend.
Yesterday, we talked about releasing our burdens and handing them over to God.
Today, I want to focus on the things we choose to hold onto.
Once we’ve laid some burdens at God’s feet, we can focus on caring for what He’s entrusted to us…without feeling like we have to do it perfectly.
2 Corinthians 12:9 says,
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
God doesn’t expect us to be perfect.
And we might be surprised to realize our families don’t either.
They don’t need our performance or perfection. They need our presence.
If we’re going to pour our time and energy into anything, let it be that.
Our kids probably won’t remember whether their socks matched or whether there was dust on the mantle.
They’ll remember how home felt – a place of comfort, love, and peace. A place they’ll want to come back to when they grow older.
Thanks for spending this minute with me.
✨Carry this with you today…
We don’t have to be perfect because we serve a perfect God.
