Hey there, sweet mama friend.

Yesterday, we talked about finding another mom who gets it. Today, let’s talk about the next step: don’t be afraid to ask for specific help.

Instead of saying, “I could really use some help,” think about what would actually make your day easier.

If your neighbor stops by with a casserole, and you really just need a shower or a nap, show gratitude for the food but also ask if they can sit with the baby for a few minutes.

Do you have a friend with whom you can swap childcare one evening a week?

Is your mom or sister able to pick up your child from school when you’re stuck?

And remember, a village is give and take. You’re not just asking others to show up for you—you’re looking for ways to show up for them, too.

Galatians 6:2 says, “Carry each other’s burdens.”

Asking for help isn’t weakness. It gives the people in your village an opportunity to love and support you.

Thanks for spending this minute with me.

✨Carry this with you today…

A strong village isn’t built on what you can get from one another, but on the ways you’re willing to show up for each other
