Hey there, sweet mama friend.
I want to share one powerful thought with you today:
Two things can be true at once.
You can love your children deeply and still need a break from them sometimes.
Needing time away doesn’t mean you love them less.
Even Jesus understood the importance of stepping away.
Luke 5:16 says, “But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.”
Mama, if Jesus made time to withdraw, pray, and reconnect with the Father, you don’t need to feel guilty for needing that too.
It’s okay to spend time with a friend.
It’s okay to have a date with your husband.
It’s okay to do something that reminds you that you’re more than just “Mom.”
Before you were a mother, you were a daughter of the King.
And He wants time with you, too.
So don’t confuse self-care with selfishness.
Taking time to be renewed can help you return to your children with more patience, presence, and joy.
Thanks for spending this minute with me.
✨Carry this with you today…
It’s okay to step away so you can come back renewed.
