Hey there, sweet mama friend. 

Have you ever had a conversation with your teen or adult child and sensed they were holding back because they were afraid of your reaction?

As God’s children, we can do the same thing with Him. We may hold back our questions, fears, doubts, or mistakes because we’re afraid of shame or disappointment.

But here’s the beautiful thing: God can handle the honest version of us.

Philippians 4:6–7 says:
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

Just as we want our children to feel safe coming to us, God wants us to come to Him—with the good, the bad, and everything in between.

And when we do, He promises us His peace.

Isn’t it wonderful to know we serve a God who is willing to share in our joys AND sufferings?
