Hey there, sweet mama friend.

This week, we’ve been talking about building your village, finding a mom who gets it, and being willing to ask for specific help.

But sometimes, your village is already around you—you just have to know where to look.

If you’re a new mom, don’t overlook the people who are there to help you. Your mother or mother-in-law, a trusted neighbor, your church family, or other moms in your community may be more willing to help than you realize.

And don’t forget about the professionals and programs available to you. A lactation nurse, your baby’s pediatrician, a Mother’s Morning Out program, or a local mom’s group can provide support, information, and community.

You don’t have to figure everything out by yourself.

Look around. Ask questions. And be willing to receive the help that’s already available to you.

Thanks for spending this minute with me.

✨Carry this with you today…

Sometimes finding your village begins with simply opening your eyes to the people already willing to walk beside you.
