Hey there, sweet mama friend.

As I shared earlier this week, your children are going to mess up.

And when they do, there may be little questions playing quietly in their hearts:

“Will you still love me if I disappoint you?”
“Will you still love me when you see the worst parts of me?”

Mama, those moments give us an opportunity to teach them about grace.

Ephesians 4:32 says, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

Think about how God loves us through our brokenness. He sees every part of us, yet He continues to meet us with grace—even when we don’t think we deserve it.

And that’s the kind of love we can model for our children.

Grace means our children can face the consequences of their actions knowing they haven’t lost our love.

Because sometimes the way we respond to their mistakes can become one of the clearest pictures they ever see of God’s grace.

Thanks for spending this minute with me.

✨Carry this with you today…

Your child may need consequences for what they’ve done, but they should never have to question whether they’re still loved.
